A CREATIVE POINT OF VIEW
I’m a creative director, multimedia designer, and storyteller shaped by three places: Kathmandu, Nepal; Chennai, India; and New York City, USA. Growing up across these cultures surrounded me with different ways of making, seeing, and telling stories.
Art has always been my way of asking questions, raising awareness, and making room for stories that deserve to be heard. Social justice sits at the heart of my personal creative practice.

My personal work uses art to confront social issues and make difficult experiences visible. Maya’s Adventure helps children unlearn colorism. My animations are especially personal: Dur uses quiet sketches and simple sounds to express homesickness. My paintings explore harm, resilience, and the strength of pregnancy.
Explore my creative practice ↗I also bring that care into collaborative settings. Through my work at Zasti and as a teaching artist in New York City, I’ve worked directly with clients, supervised and trained others, and helped people bring their ideas to life.
